Bihada Ichizoku [美肌紗羅] is a popular Love Labo beauty line. Their masks are strongly fragrant and extremely moisturizing. I’ve used this line of face masks myself and have always been pleased with them! They’re luxurious and soothing. Plus they leave my face feeling soft and fresh! I’m a bit acne prone and this line has never caused me any irritation or pimples. So I’d recommend them even if you have sensitive skin. They were also just listed as the #9 best skin care product in the November issue of Popteen for their “2009 Best Ranking!”
These 3 masks are from Yesstyle. You can find these exact masks plus other products from the Bihada Ichizoku line! I also recommend the beige blush if you’re looking for a good starter blush in an orange-ish shade.

Is this mask so good? I’ve never used it, but I’ll try then. Bihada Ichizoku is very popular in Japan and they have various lines of cosme and even books about beauty. Too strong scent is not my kind, but if you say it’s that good, I’ll give it a try.
OH, YOU CAN EXCLUDE ME FROM THE GIVEAWAY, because as you know, I live in Japan and I’ll just drop by at one of the drug stores to grab one of them to try out.

I’d really like to try these masks, so count me in! I have sensitive-ish skin + acne prone skin too (from stress, bleh), so it’s nice to hear that they don’t bother your skin!
Have you ever tried any whitening masks, before? I have a couple scars/spots & sun freckles I wish would go away, but I have extremely fair skin already so I’m not sure.

But I’m always wondering, when you blog about products such as these Bihada masks, that do you examine it’s ingredients? It’s good to hear, that they are effective and harmless for sensitive skin, but if it contains mineral oil or something in connecion with paraffin, I wouldn’t put it on my face… :S
Sorry if I sound sceptical or negative, I don’t intend to do so… I’m just curious. :3

Interesting, this is the first thing I’ve heard somewhat negative towards paraffin. Paraffin dips at cosmetology school & the unscented for facials were one of my few favorite parts. D:
Hi Megan!
I’m studying at a hand and footcare, nail-art school and after I graduate, I’m also going to use paraffin treatment (dipping hands and feet). But this is different. Basically this paraffin dosen’t make “direct contact” with your skin (and it doesn’t go inside your skin), because on hands and feet we apply a thick layer of moisturizer, then we dip hands and feet into melted paraffin. This time paraffin works only as a “heater” (because it keeps the heat for several minutes) which opens the pores so that the moisturizer can flow deeper into the skin. I don’t know the process of the facial treatment.
But, if a cream or mask contains paraffin derivative (usually you can find amongst the ingredients as mineral oil or paraffinum liquidum) it clogs your pores and your skin can’t breath. (The saddest thing is that you can find these ingredients in baby products as well…
I’d like to emphasize, that I’m not an expert on this topic. I just read a lot of articles, where it’s harmful feature was explained, and the authors highly recommended that we better avoid paraffin derivatives when we buy a product. If you search on google, I’m sure you’ll find these articles as well.
What I wrote above (in connection with paraffin treatment) was told by my teacher when I asked her if that paraffin what we use for dips is clogging the pores or not.
I’m sorry for my broken English, but I’m not a native English speaker…

Also, if you happen to see this comment amongst the crowd, I was wondering how your boots from YesStyle fit? The ones with the studs and the fringe.
