WC Rucksack and Top!

YAY IT ARRIVED!

Actually it arrived Thursday… hah!
I just haven’t been feeling too well plus being busy with work and errands.

The pink little envelope is a sweet thank you message from Rina and some tasty candies!
I was SO happy these arrived on a day I was actually working at home. Though the doorbell scared the crap out of me!! :F *hides when the doorbell rings*

The WC logo shirt~
NOW 50% off!!! hahaha RAAAAAAAAAWR!
… C’est la vie~~~
Murphy’s Law! Serves me right for becoming impatient & not being able to wait until my trip!!

LOVE this bag~
It’s so nostalgic for me because it’s just like my old Jr. High one~!
It’s gonna be great to use as my carry on! Also to wear throughout my trip. Last trip to Japan I had my oversized Cher bag (which I’m bringing again too, LOL) but it would get SO weighed down with purchases that I literally had bruising on my shoulder from the weight!! The backpack will be a better option for sure~~

Now a little WC Osaka spam!! I love these girls~ :driftingheart: I’m on their CROOZ Blogs w/my Blackberry every train ride home from work~~~ I save their photos and use them as my photo’s wallpaper! These are from a recent entry from Chia~~

Preview of a new pair of boots from Chinatsu’s blog! OMG I LOVE THESE!!!!!! I hope I can try them on in stores when I’m there~ I’m curious to see how the open toe looks on~~~

Now for some unfinished business!
Two quick reviews!

First, I had mentioned buying Nivea Good-Bye Cellulite Serum a few weeks ago.

Verdict? Skip it.

Instead go with NIVEA’S My Silhouette! Firming Gel

Basically the Nivea Good-Bye Cellulite Serum works as well as the NIVEA’S My Silhouette! Firming Gel but not any better. And the Serum leaves a really greasy film after applying it. Plus it doesn’t smell very good. Smells like hair gel. And you get less of the serum than you do the firming gel.

I started using My Silhouette Firming Gel last summer and just really loved it! Short review can be found here. Basically the gel costs the same, works as well, but smells nicer and dries cleaner (not greasy) unlike the Good-Bye Cellulite Serum.

Second review is another cellulite/shaping product.

ゲルマ塩
It’s a germanium massage salt for your body. It claims to give you smoother lines around your problem areas using the popular “power of germanium” which is found in most of the “sweat bath” bath salt types.

I’ll say that it definitely does make your skin feel super soft. But aside from that I didn’t see any visible results that you couldn’t get with any other type of body salt scrub. The thing that really stands out is its “scent!” It’s horrible! The best description would be that it smells like a bayou at low tide on a hot July afternoon!!!!!!!!! Sure, I appreciated the nostalgic mind trip back to my days of living on the southern coastline, but really, it’s quite overpowering. For those of you lucky enough not to have lived by a bayou, it basically just smells strongly of sulfur.

I won’t be buying it again~~
I’d instead buy some other, more lovely smelling body scrub

However I’ll say I don’t think body scrubs are really my thing. I don’t really enjoy the texture and task. I’m a soak type of girl I guess!

This same brand makes a really good germanium bath salt line though which I really love! :good:

then i realized the tank-top you were getting was wc AND banana DDD: you win, jenny, i just want all your clothes……

MR. BANANA!! That’s kinda cool you grew out of your allergy. I know I read somewhere that allergies can disappear like that. Also opposite like you can become increasingly allergic as well. Strange stuff. How did you figure out you grew out of it though?! I imagine some scary episode where you ate smtg and the person was like “there’s yummy banana in there” and you had a good scare O_O;;, haahaa

hahaha i’m not deathly allergic (THANKFULLY), i would just get really sleepy and have a nasty stuffy/runny nose for the day or just feel sick. acutally! i drink these smoothies that have 1/2 a banana in them, and i didn’t realize they had 1/2 a banana in them until a friend pointed it out! so i just was like ‘….OH WELL’ and then ate a piece of banana during dinner one night. i was heeeealed 8D go body, go~ haha

Those boots are crazy! I love it, aside from the open toe; just not my style. Lol. I’ve been waiting forever for a post from you! I’m feel content the week ended with one.
So I keep looking at the Nivea product you mention using, but I keep getting iffy. You said it more or less tones, right? I guess that’s better than nothing. Haha.

I’m gonna try and get my msn working again. Get rid of the program and download it again, maybe it’ll work. Gonna cross my fingers. :p

Yea I wish they were closed toe too, that’s why I’m curious to see them actually worn.

It’s basically just a skin firming lotion, I dunno why they act like they’re actually “destroying” cellulite, haahaa!

i know rite?!
i ended up buying a backpck when i was in kyoto because i bought too many things from muji and i couldn’t carry it all home.

lol…it was so hot too, @__@ good thing i end up using that bag a lot, but either way, a backpack on a shopping trip like that is a good way to go (y)

July 11, 2010 @ 6:55 pm

Yea seriously! Even though I had a HUGE bag having all the weight on just 1 side of my body was TOO much! Plus a backpack will be less in my way as I shop . Hopefully it won’t come off as too touristy since it IS WC brand, LOL

Germanium?! Haha I thought you had written geranium at first so I was flabbergasted at the “bayou” stench.
Anyway, I love your blog! It’s so adorable. I was wondering if you could give me general tips on losing weight. I’m having a bit of trouble (ok a lot) with over eating. Very inspirational blog!

Wow, thanks so much!! Hum, the best “advice” would probably be to just browse through my “diet” labeled pages. http://sushi-cat.net/index.php?tag=diet
These are posts I did concerning the diet I was on last year. I tend to over eat only if I can’t have my usual snacks during the day. I eat small snacks throughout the day but sometimes meetings get in the way and on those days I get SO hungry and might overeat that night. :(

Yay for backpacks! I’m not really of a backpack gal, i’m more of a those big purses. I have soo many bags of salt for the bath, but unfortunately, my bath broke! Well, not the bath, but the faucet(?) It’s just sucky, because I work at a high stressful job and i need a relaxing bath! ^.^

And all those socks… ALL those colors!
It makes me want to collect them all,
then go to some place where I can wear just my socks to show them off! =O
haha~

And I love how the girls do their hair in two puffy-buns, soooo cute!
Their pink WC shirt is adorable!
All I have is the 15th anni Cher bag and pouch my bf brought back from Japan…
I wish I could find the larger standard bags (like the ones you have) online! =’(

Those boots are soooo awesome cute. I don’t think awesome cute is a word but I decided these shoes needed two words clumped together to form a new one. I don’t like open toes though… If they were closed toes I would be happy to wear them throughout fall

yay! I’m really curious how many people in the US have cher bags and WC stuff! You must be in a fraction of a percent! AND THAT’S COOL - sale or no sale

Haha you’re so cute - the doorbell rings and you’re like “Holy crap! *hide” Our dog barks when the delivery man comes, then licks him like crazy when the door opens

I love those boots - Zipia had similar ones, which are less expensive than the Alexander Wang ones I dream about at night LOL http://www.christian-louboutin-hot.com/images/Alexander_wang/15/1.jpg

Hope you get them on your trip!

Wow, the items arrived so quickly! How did time go by like that? OX haha. I’m sorry to hear the shirt went on sale after you bought it, but atleast you have it in your hands and you can wear it during the hot days DC is having. It looks really cute on you!!

Thanks for sharing the W*C spam, it made my day brighter for sure^^

I just don’t care about cellulite. I mean everyone has it, the only real way to get rid of it is liposuction and it’s just too nit picky to care about that for me.

“smells like a bayou at low tide on a hot July afternoon” I swear the smell filled my nostrils as I read that…

jenny said
July 11, 2010 @ 7:04 pm

Well I hope no one actually believes these gels will actually get rid of their cellulite, but I do like the firming effect they give! Makes stuff less JIGGLY, hahahaaa!

Using a japanese shopping service to buy it off the real website. Like shoppingmalljapan.com. But it is an old design now, you can’t find it except on japanese auctions like Yahoo!Japan Auctions or Mbok.
