Ebay Lashes

About 2 weeks ago I decided I was gonna give the ole “buy batches of lashes on ebay” thing a try. :getit: I decided on a set of 10 pairs from the seller styleinjewelry at the price of $1.00 with $1.50 shipping. 
Two weeks later they’ve arrived!
with the extra end bits cut too~I figured, at such a low price, I was willing to make the gamble that they would either
1) not be sent or
2) suck balls
….
BUT! :sparkleup:
I was wrong on both accounts!
I chose this style because they looked excellent for cutting into accent + bottom lashes. They were a bit longer than what I had expected from the picture, but that didn’t end up being a problem. By far these cut-lashes are now my favorite accent lash style. :good: VERY dramatic! A bit heavier than the wimpy accent lashes I’ve been using lately, though I’m sure if I trimmed them down I could lighten the load. 
But the weight didn’t really bother me, just an observation. And as for the leftovers, they do make great dramatic bottom corner lashes I think! :good:

I really couldn’t be happier~! and at such a plentiful amount & cheap cost there’s no sad-face when it’s time to toss them out. Not sure of their lifespan yet, probably short. Though they’re ready to go for another wear. :good: Though they aren’t as plastic-y as I expected, but I did choose the overlapping style in hopes cheapness wouldn’t be quite as obvious.
I want to experiment with cutting these up in different ways. 
This time I merely cut them in half, no trimming
There’s a similar auction by the same seller here but I’m not sure how long this link will be any good b/c you never know with ebay (people buying and whatnot!)
Anyway~ how’s everyone’s week going so far?? Hope it’s a good one!! 
I’ve got a pretty nasty headache so I’m gonna go relax now.

Accent Lashes are Love

I scan in random things I want to share but often forget to SHARE them and I go into my junk folder and there they all are! Well I’ll share a bunch of them today!
First up, Ageha & circle lenses!
They did a big spread on the girls’ favorite 3 circle lenses. 
It’s from the November issue, I think. Yea… I told you I scan stuff & forget!!
I have links to most major Japanese contact carriers in my links section. Major sites include Max Color, Candy Magic, Angel Color, Vivian, Fall In Eyez.
I also scanned in a page from Popteen that shows some eyemake tips. I really liked the difference they showed when adding on accent lashes (half lashes) on top of full lashes!

I actually did this for the first time a few weeks ago when I debuted my Max Brown lenses. It’s really nice effect and doesn’t really require much more work than placing the full lashes. Actually it makes my full lashes feel more secure to be honest! Wasn’t as heavy to wear as I expected either!
I wanted to try the really winged, nude look that Kumicky often sports around~~
The full lashes were just typical dramatic full lashes from Hard Candy. The accent lashes I used were Ardell brand Accent lash #305. Yup, drugstore brand! I got mine at CVS actually and have had them for a while.
I recently got 2 new pairs of accent lashes from Yesstyle. Beauty World Rich Accent Eyelash! パッチリラビット and キュートなパンダ目. This roughly translate to “Cute Panda Eyes” and “Big & Beautiful Rabbit.” The second one I’m not certain on but seems right. Many of their lashes are named for gorgeous animal eyes, LOL. I don’t know but it’s so funny but cute

I might just be wearing accent lashes for a while. They’re just so much easier to wear all day long especially when wearing circle lenses~ :good: Paired with Double Extend Beauty Tubes Mascara it gives enough drama for a more nude look.
Though I’d really like to get these Shu Uemura Mini Star accent lashes! SOOOOOOOOO CUUUUUTE! Why must they be $22? That’s so much for accent lashes, hahahaha! I know, Shu Uemura is super nice quality~~
The seem like accent version of the larger star glitz ones! I couldn’t find them on the US Shu Uemura site for sell. This picture is from Tumblr or a model’s blog or something~ sorry I forget!!
