Popteen Eye Make

Awwwwe~~ I really like March’s cover.
It’s sweet but subtle compared to the past 2 where the colors have kinda been… all over the place with sparkles barfing all over it. Not that I dislike puking-ly sweet sparkles~ 
it’s just nice to get a break from it. And to point out that Kumicky’s on the cover would just be superfluous. *_* I do like how sleek her hair looks though (or wig, whatever it may be, 
LOL)
I’m also glad they’re doing these PopSister inserts in each Popteen until the magazine goes monthly this spring. 
That said, Ageha’s looks sweet too. Their past 2 issues have been a total turn off for me. They’ve been quite biker babe-style-like. This one harks back to why I subscribed to the magazine in the first place. 
I know I get March’s, I think my last issue is in April but will need to confirm that with the bookstore.
Geez, Momoeri’s Araki Sayaka boob-age is attempting to evacuate her dress there! Hahahahaa

Not sure when I'll be able to pick up Popteen though. They're calling for more snow!! This Wednesday then this weekend Saturday AND Sunday! raaaawr 
I brought up wanting to end my subscription with Ageha and one reason being less eyemake choices that vary off full black bottom liner. I wanted to share some Popteen eyemake tutorial from February’s issue. I scanned these in to add to my lookbook! I like to use dark brown shadow or silky gray shadow to line my bottom lashes. I also think these looks are really lovely for spring

So I’m sick.
I woke up sick late Saturday night. Puking
Felt like crap Sunday.
I attempted to just walk it off and figured I could go grab some breakfast or something. I dragged myself outta bed and slapped on some make and even put in my KING blue’s. Thinking getting dressed would shake my feeling of ick~
Sunday morning
But the roads were so icy and I was just feeling worse and worse that by noon I had already bathed and put on pajamas and just laid on the couch all day & night~
Didn’t feel much better this morning so I stayed home. But after an entire day of naps and light eating I still feel ick. I described my symptoms to Mike and he said it sounds exactly like what all his coworkers had last week
Today~
I blame myself!!!!!! I haven’t been taking my vitamins these past couple of weeks because I moved them and so out of sight out of mind!!
It’s basically just a mild flu. I’m gonna just go into work tomorrow. Take some medicine and wear comfortable loose clothes and just get through the day.

Do you know how to do that wing-tipped eyeliner??? It’s so hard D:
Hum~ I think I know what you’re talking about. The sorta fantail look at the outer edges? You draw with a liquid pen liner out, angled down a bit and then up. Then the easiest way to achieve it (without fake lashes that are already made too look like this) is to double up lashes extending a shorter lash set on top at the outer corner! I was actually gonna try this out this week when my replacement circle lens arrives. There was a good tutorial in Feb’s Popteen:

Do you own 24h Real Lasting eyeliner? I’ve been thinking about getting it - I love brush pen applicators! My Revlon brushpen eyeliner is not bad -but not great either
I love how smooth and clean their liner is applied!
I’ve heard amazing things about it and have eyed it in the store!! Currently though I’m using a japanese brand of liquid pen liner that I’m liking. I’m gonna wait and see if I can get a CVS coupon or if Target puts it on sale before I pick it up! Ya know… my New Year’s resolution & all =____=;; Maybe I’ll run out of liner and that can be my excuse, LOL

There is a new pot one from Maybelline that boasts 24-hr last! LOL and my mind was thinking that!!
The 1-day tattoo one definitely had the crap advertised out of it and I’d like to try it but haven’t yet. ;__;

i agree popteeb eye make is more fun than ageha, it embraces more colors and its funky, flirty, and fun. Ageha gets a little boring after a while…and a little trampy

How big do you think the model’s in popteen and ageha’s circle lenses are?
14mm? 14.7mm?

It really varies since most models own an array of circle lenses. Some models have contracts with certain brands though, like Sakurina, who is currently always wearing KING Series which is 14.5. Tsubasa however only wears Wing series which are 14.0 because of her contract~
It’s a safe guess though that Ageha model’s tend to pick the larger diameter lenses while Popteen often wants a more natural look with just splash of color. But really~ it just boils down to a model’s preference.
I think the Popteen cover is really pretty. But for me, the Ageha cover, to steal the phrase you used, has too many “sparkles barfing all over it.”
Aw, get better soon! I had a somewhat similar weekend; I was feeling sick and then it snowed. Things are almost better now though.

Awww, your little pic at the end is so pitful, lol. Sorry you are sick, that is so fun at all. I don’t like being sick because I never feel like doing any of the things that I normally like doing and feel really unproductive.
Those scans are great. It proves that you can still look gyaru without overdoing it or having on tons of bottom make.

I think this flu has been going around… I had it last week & now another girl I work with got it too. It sucks so much! Hopefully today you will start to feel more like yourself. Just get lots of rest, drink plenty of fluids, and try some Nyquil! That’s actually what knocked mine out, I think.
The make all looks so pretty in those scans ♥ & I agree, the ageha cover looks nice! I tried to getting into that mag but since my Japanese reading is really rusty, I gave up. I always found it to be more text than photos for some reason

I saw that girl on the cover when I was in Tokyo, also some other models doing a shoot outside of the NHK building. Some models made a stop at Don Quixote in Shibuya too, everyone went crazy with their mobile cameras xD I don’t really know these girls but one of my friends instantly knew and showed me the previous issue of Popteen right after^^ Was a lot of fun!
